Data Center Decommissioning
Closing a data hall, consolidating sites or moving to the cloud? We plan and run the full decommission: de-installation, de-racking, secure transport, data destruction and recycling, with one point of contact and full documentation at the end.
When this applies
Facility closures, lease exits, consolidations, cloud migrations and hardware refresh cycles. Whether it is ten racks or an entire facility, every asset is tracked from the cage to final destruction or recycling, and the space is left clean for handover.

How It Works
1
Send your site details, rack count and asset list, plus any timeline or lease exit date.
2
We plan the project, then de-install, de-rack, pack and transport equipment under chain of custody.
3
Drives are destroyed, equipment is recycled, and you receive serialized reports and a Certificate of Destruction.
What you get
- Project plan and schedule
- Serialized asset and drive reports

- Recycling documentation for ESG reporting
What Affects the Cost

FAQ
How long does a decommission take?
Small projects are often completed in a day. Larger facilities are planned in phases around your migration schedule.
Do you remove cabling and racks?
Yes. Structured cabling, racks, PDUs and other infrastructure can be removed and recycled as part of the project.
Can drives be destroyed on site?
Yes. Mobile shredding can destroy media at your facility before anything leaves the building.
Do we get documentation for auditors?
Yes. Serialized reports, chain of custody records and a Certificate of Destruction for every project.
